Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 13 May 2026 · Version 1.0
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone using Fix-A(I)LL — customers, tradespeople, and visitors. It supplements our Customer Terms and Tradesperson Terms.
You must not
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information — including photos that don't represent the property, addresses you have no connection to, false trade qualifications, or fake reviews
- Use the Platform to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against anyone, including on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or age
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or extract substantial parts of the Platform's content (job listings, tradesperson profiles, AI estimates) by automated means
- Attempt to circumvent payment, including by chargeback fraud, lead fee evasion, or deceiving the platform into giving free estimates
- Use the Platform to compete with us — e.g. building a tradesperson directory by collecting data from our jobs board
- Upload malware, viruses, or attempt to attack our infrastructure
- Impersonate another person or business
- Coordinate with others to manipulate reviews or ratings
- Use AI tools to mass-generate fake submissions or applications
- Disclose another user's personal data without their consent
Communication standards
Messages exchanged through the in-app messaging system must be professional and relevant to the job. We may review messages where a complaint is raised. Messages that contain abuse, threats, or discriminatory content may be removed and may lead to account suspension.
Reporting abuse
If you encounter behaviour that breaches this AUP, report it to [email protected] with details and (if applicable) the job reference. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days.
Consequences
Breaches of this AUP may result in:
- A warning
- Removal of offending content
- Suspension or termination of your account
- Reporting to law enforcement where the breach is also a crime
- Civil action where we suffer loss as a result
Decisions are made in our reasonable discretion. We don't have to give advance warning if the breach is serious.
